Song requests and tips, briefly explained.
Paid song requests
Your request appears for the DJ once the payment is authorised. It is only charged when the DJ accepts it. This does not guarantee playback, a playing time or extra votes.
Tip
Tipping is voluntary and does not require a song request. Your payment is charged as soon as you confirm it, without approval from the DJ. The recipient is the provider shown.
Amount and payment
You make a one-off payment to the provider shown, with no subscription. Their name, contact details, the total, currency and tax information are shown before you pay.
The displayed fixed or minimum price applies to requests. You can pay more than the minimum or choose a higher tip. Stripe shows available payment methods such as card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Your bank may show an authorisation as a pending payment.
Release and refund
The authorisation is released if the request is declined, the event ends or the DJ does not accept it within six hours.
Already charged, but a technical problem prevented delivery or the request list has closed? After checking, we arrange a full refund. “Decline & refund” also returns the full amount, including any extra contribution, without deductions from the guest’s payment. A song not being played does not, by itself, trigger a refund.
Contact the provider about tips or any other refund questions. Refunds go to the original payment method. Releases and credits may take time to appear at your bank. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
For providers: fees and payouts
Platform fee: Basic 10%, paid plans 5% of the amount paid, plus Stripe fees. The platform fee includes any applicable VAT.
The platform fee is deducted only when the payment is charged and is rounded to the smallest currency unit. Stripe and currency conversion costs may remain after a refund. Payouts follow your Stripe settings; conversion may be needed.
If payment fails, free requests remain available as long as requests are being accepted. Saving your provider details means these terms apply, including automatic full refunds for technical failures.
Privacy and contact
Your name or nickname, any song and comment, and payment status are used to process the transaction. Payment records are also processed to meet legal obligations (Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR). Stripe processes payment details; Crowdflow Live does not store full card or wallet details.
