About requests with an extra contribution
Service, payment, refunds and privacy at a glance.
Your request with an extra contribution
Your request reaches the DJ once the amount has been successfully reserved. You are charged only when the DJ accepts it. This does not guarantee that or when the song will be played and does not add a vote.
Your contract is with the DJ or provider shown. Their name, contact details, total price and tax information are displayed before you order. This is a one-off payment, not a subscription.
Amount and payment
The provider sets a fixed or minimum price starting at €1.00. With a minimum price, you can choose to pay more. The final total is shown on the payment button.
Stripe shows suitable payment methods such as cards, Apple Pay or Google Pay, depending on the account and device. The amount is reserved first; your bank may show it as pending. It is charged only when the DJ accepts the request.
Release and refund
If the DJ declines, the event ends or your request is not accepted within six hours, we release the payment hold. Your bank may take a little longer to update what you see.
If payment was taken but a technical issue prevented delivery, or the request list has closed, the full amount is automatically submitted for refund after verification. Voluntary extra amounts are also refunded without deducting fees.
The refund goes to the original payment method and may take a few days. Contact the provider with any questions about your refund. After the payment is collected, “Decline & refund” triggers a full refund; a song not being played does not trigger one on its own. Contact the provider for any further claims. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
For providers
Platform fee: Basic 10%, paid plans 5% of the amount paid, plus Stripe fees.
The platform fee is charged only when the payment is collected. It is deducted from the total and rounded to the nearest cent. Stripe processing fees may still apply after a payment has been collected, even if it is fully refunded. Free requests remain available if there are technical payment problems.
Saving your provider details makes these terms applicable, including automatic full refunds for technical failures.
Privacy policy
Your name or nickname, song, comment and payment status are used by the provider to handle the request. Payment records are also processed to meet legal obligations (Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR). Stripe processes payment details; CrowdFlow does not store full card or wallet details.
Retention, recipients and your rights: Privacy policy. Contact the provider about your request. For questions about the platform, contact info@crowdflow.live.
