Chatwall for company parties and conferences

Collect greetings and impressions, agree on moderation and give Chatwall the right place in your programme.

A greeting to the team or a thought about the day: Chatwall works well for these short messages at company parties and conferences. Decide during planning when it will be shown and who will approve messages.

A specific invitation helps

“What will you take away from today?” gives guests more to work with than “Write something”. For voting or an organised Q&A with speakers, use a dedicated tool. Chatwall displays messages; it does not manage polls or question lists.

The break is often a better time

Before the event, during a break or as the day winds down, guests have time to read messages. During a presentation, slides should have their attention. Use a separate Chatwall screen or agree in advance when to switch.

Read it once before displaying it

Assign someone to approve messages and ask guests not to send confidential details. Even a friendly greeting can contain client names or internal information that shouldn’t be on the big screen.

Test from the back row too

Check font size, full-screen mode and internet access at the venue. Walk to the far end of the room to read the screen. For an early start, make sure access works before doors open. If you change Wi-Fi later, test the display again.

Put these in the running order

  • An invitation or question for guests
  • Someone responsible for approving messages
  • Times when Chatwall is visible

With clear responsibilities, Chatwall can stay looked after even when there’s a lot happening on stage.
